Value@Lift is an experiment for exploring the possibility space of insights through visualization of participants inputs what they think about the value of this conference already have, should have and the value of the participant themselves have via SMS. When participants input those 3 or more words to their mobile device, they might have experience the internal provocation process because they suggested think about the values. And then they will watch the screen that shows the visualization which is a shared medium that describes relationship between values, dynamics of their thoughts, conflicts, local harmony etc. throughout this they might have experience the outer provocation process and these whole process lead the next iteration of same but altered process so it builds positive feedback loop and it may open ended as an equilibrium. And I hope it could suggest a perspective of duality that is microscopic and macroscopic in the same time, and it might be also fragments and whole in the same time.
Value@Lift is also an agent system that helps participants to find others who share similar values during the conference. And it won't be handled in direct way. So the SMS that participants will have are just short directives or hints. It is a game. And perhaps somebody can remind the blind date.

Seung Joon Choi is interested in complex systems and phenomena which originate from a simple theory. With new media, he is trying to express the complexity that occurs within the network among various relationships. Also, he develops user-friendly interfaces which allow anyone to easily participate in constructing narratives of his artwork. He suggests through this that the media artist can be the media itself. He loves to play with crossing various boundaries around the uncertainty area which lies between void and existence.
He believes that the potential of media art will inspire education in various levels. To put in practice, he learns from collaborating with various other artists in plastic arts, design, music, literature, drama and dance. He also puts computer science and scientific subjects into storytelling to allow other artists to understand. Based on this process, he would like to contribute in making connections with knowledge, mind, and culture.
